Lessons let you create structured learning content inside Replay. Use them to teach concepts, explain processes, or share knowledge your team needs before jumping into practice.

What a lesson looks like

A lesson is a piece of content — text, video, or a combination — that you read or watch and then mark as complete. Think of it as the “learn” step before the “practice” step.

When to use lessons

Lessons work best when your team needs to understand something before practicing it:

Product knowledge

Teach reps about a new feature before they roleplay selling it

Process training

Walk through your discovery call framework before a practice session

Onboarding

Introduce new hires to your methodology, terminology, or tools

Reinforcement

Share a refresher between coaching sessions

Creating a lesson

1

Open the Library

Go to the Library from the left sidebar.
2

Create a new lesson

Click New and select Lesson.
3

Add your content

Fill in the title, description, and lesson body.
4

Save and assign

Save the lesson, then assign it to users or include it in a playlist.
Pair lessons with practice. A lesson on objection handling followed by a Rapid Fire drill is more effective than either alone. Use playlists to sequence them together.

Tips

  • Keep lessons focused. One topic per lesson is easier to complete and easier to reference later.
  • Use playlists to put a lesson before a roleplay — so reps learn first, then practice.
  • Reuse across teams. A good lesson can be assigned to multiple teams without recreating it.
