Overview

The Read.ai integration allows you to:
  • Automatically sync meeting transcripts from Read.ai to Replay after each call
  • Score real conversations using custom scorecards tailored to your team
  • Track performance trends across your organization
  • Get AI-powered coaching insights on every meeting
Unlike other integrations, Read.ai connects via a webhook — Read.ai sends meeting data to Replay automatically after each call completes. There’s no OAuth flow or login required.

Setting Up the Integration

Follow these steps to connect Read.ai to Replay. If you run into any issues, see the Troubleshooting section below.

Prerequisites

  • An active Replay account (contact [email protected] to get started)
  • A Read.ai account with webhook access
  • Manager or Admin role in Replay

Step-by-Step Setup

Navigate to Company Settings

Log in to your Replay account and go to Company Settings > Integrations.

Find the Read.ai Integration Card

Locate the Read.ai Integration card in the list of available integrations. It displays your unique webhook URL.

Copy the Webhook URL

Click the copy button next to the webhook URL to copy it to your clipboard. This URL is unique to your company.

Open Read.ai Webhook Settings

Go to Read.ai Integrations > Webhooks in your Read.ai account.

Create a New Webhook

Create a new webhook in Read.ai and paste your Replay webhook URL.

Confirm Setup

After your next meeting with Read.ai active, the transcript will automatically appear in Replay. No further configuration is needed.
Each Replay company has a unique webhook URL. All team members using Read.ai will have their meeting data automatically synced to your company’s Replay account.

How It Works

Once connected, here’s what happens after each meeting:
  1. Read.ai captures the meeting — transcripts, speaker data, and meeting metadata are recorded
  2. Read.ai sends a webhook — after the meeting ends, Read.ai posts the transcript data to your Replay webhook URL
  3. Replay processes the transcript — the meeting is matched to a user in your company and the transcript is converted into Replay’s snippet format
  4. AI analysis runs — Replay scores the conversation against your configured scorecards and generates coaching insights

User Matching

Replay matches Read.ai meeting owners to Replay users by email address. If a matching user isn’t found, Replay creates an integration user automatically so no data is lost.

Troubleshooting

Transcripts Not Appearing

  • Verify the webhook URL is correctly pasted in your Read.ai settings
  • Ensure the meeting had enough conversation (meetings with fewer than 3 speaker turns are skipped)
  • Allow a few minutes after the meeting ends for processing
  • Check that the meeting owner’s email matches a user in your Replay company

Duplicate Recordings

  • Replay automatically deduplicates meetings using the Read.ai report URL
  • If you see duplicates, contact [email protected] for assistance

Wrong User Attribution

  • Replay matches users by the meeting owner’s email in Read.ai
  • Ensure your team members’ Read.ai email addresses match their Replay accounts
  • Unmatched users are created as integration users and can be merged later
